Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") defines what content you may and may not generate through MakeVideo. It complements our Terms of Service and is binding on every user of the Service. Violations may result in content removal, generation suspension, or permanent account termination.

Prohibited Content

You may not use MakeVideo to generate, attempt to generate, or upload reference material for any of the following:

• Sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, pornographic, or NSFW content of any kind, including but not limited to nudity, sexual acts, fetish content, or suggestive material involving real or fictional persons.
• Face-swap, deepfake, or any manipulation of a real person's likeness. This prohibition is absolute and applies regardless of whether consent has been obtained, in line with Creem's AI Wrapper compliance rules.
• Any content depicting minors in sexual, exploitative, or otherwise harmful contexts.
• Hate speech, discriminatory content, or content targeting protected groups based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Gratuitous violence, gore, torture, or content glorifying real-world harm.
• Content depicting or facilitating illegal activity, including drug use, weapons manufacturing, or terrorism.
• Impersonation of real individuals or entities for deceptive purposes, including political disinformation.
• Content designed to deceive, defraud, harass, or harm individuals.

Enforcement

We enforce this AUP through automated content moderation (every prompt is screened by Creem's official Moderation API before generation) and human review. The enforcement ladder is:

• First-time minor violations may result in a warning and removal of the offending content.
• Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary suspension of generation capabilities.
• Severe violations (e.g. CSAM, deepfake of any person regardless of consent) result in immediate permanent account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior on MakeVideo that violates this AUP, please email [email protected] with the subject "AUP Violation Report" and a description of the issue. We investigate every report.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be posted to this page.
